I have a rattle that comes from the rear and is ? exterior, I did think it was the brake pads and changed them-rattle returned 2 days later . It does stop with brake pedal pressure, any suggestions.. ? shims needed

if it doesn't stop with pressure then it isn't pad or shim related as when you're applying pressure they can't move around!!
heat shield maybe?? needs checking asap to make sure it isn't more serious........

Lightbulb

I've solved my own problem...there are no pad retention springs/clips on the lower edge of the calliper. Are they for sale seperately ???
