Hi,
I have got a new WRX (my first Scoob) and have noticed that when I brake hard, it pulls to the left slightly, (more so than previous cars I have owned) which unsettles the car causing a weaving effect as steering input is required to correct it. Could this be an imbalance in the brake force going to each wheel due to faulty EBD, a geometry problem or simply that it is sensitive to the camber of the road?
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Tom

These cars can be sensitive to camber, different surfaces, etc. If such a thing is possible, find yourself a nice flat, straight, quiet, good quality piece of road & perform a typical heavy braking maneuver, after having made sure the coast is clear front & particularly rearwards, and see if she still pulls. If so, take it back. If you're not too excited about trying out the above on public roads, take it back to your dealer & get them to look at it - it is new after all!

Tracking could well be out, even after coming straight from the dealer.
Braking BTW

Do yourself a favour and get upto Powerstation for a full geometry setup.

You will think you are driving a different car afterwards.

Get it to the dealer to sort out. That's what they're there for. You should not be paying money to have this fixed if you're not happy.

Take it straight back!

If you crash and kill someone because of this fault could you live with yourself knowing you could have avoided it????
