I've bought the OZ alloys and Pirelli p zeros for my new car - they wont give me any money for the standard wheels that come on the STi so I have a completely spare set of 17" wheels and tyres. Is there any reason why it would be difficult to fit them on my old 2000 turbo?

They will fit, but the tyres will rub badly on the rear arches, and would need to be replaced with smaller ones. The STi tyres also have a larger rolling circumference, so the speedo/odometer on the old car would also be out.

You are probably best selling them as a job lot, and buying better suited 17 inch wheels and tyres for the older car with the money.

I have got 02 STi wheels fitted on my my95 wrx and they look great. I have fitted 215 40 R17 goodyear F1's and they fit fine I sold the original tyres (225 45 R17) to regain some of the cost
