bigger disks?
Ian , forgive me if this is a stupid question , but I am not that technical!!!!
Surely if you are using the same size caliper on a bigger disk you are still only getting the same clamping effect .i.e. the pad is the same size and clamping the same area as with the smaller disk???
I guess my question is ......what benefits does a bigger disk give with the same size caliper/pads?

5 Type R - The difference is in the leaverage , which makes them much better , try taking a wheel nut off with a small ratchet or a long power bar ,with the longer bar you don't need so much force to undo them , it's the same effect on the brakes , and also our 335mm kit has bigger pads than the standard setup , they are also bigger than the AP 4 pot pads .
