hi all could anyone point me in the right direction regarding putting bigger disks than the 294mm with 4-pots?would like to go to at least over 300mm any help appreciated clive.

The only ones that I can think off off hand that use the OE 4 pots is the Godspeed kit, which can have 335mm disc's.

Ian , forgive me if this is a stupid question , but I am not that technical!!!!

Surely if you are using the same size caliper on a bigger disk you are still only getting the same clamping effect .i.e. the pad is the same size and clamping the same area as with the smaller disk???

I guess my question is ......what benefits does a bigger disk give with the same size caliper/pads?

Webmaster , I have enquired about a banner in the past but no one got back to me , Please email me details and costs .

5 Type R - The difference is in the leaverage , which makes them much better , try taking a wheel nut off with a small ratchet or a long power bar ,with the longer bar you don't need so much force to undo them , it's the same effect on the brakes , and also our 335mm kit has bigger pads than the standard setup , they are also bigger than the AP 4 pot pads .
Hope this helps, Ian
