I have a uk o2 wrx the other night driving a bit spirited came to brake after a long straight for a junction sudden shock loud wuring noise from the frount end and lack of brakes???? in other words it took me a hell of a lot longer to slow down than I expected. On inspection the next day plenty of pads at the frount but slight ridging on the disks the car has only done 8ooo miles any ideas befor I take it back to the dealers I have a horrible thought that the disks might be warped has anybody come across this problum on the uk wrx.

did the brakes still work, was the pedal "mushy" or did the pedal stay hard but the car didn't slow no matter how hard you pushed?????????

Stockcar the brakes did work in a fashion they were not
