The price sounds ok, although you could probably get them slightly cheaper elsewhere. It's just that the tyres arent that good. They're French tyres, you know

Well, have you seen French cars? French tyres are made to go with the performance of those LOL
I think the sidewall is reasonably rigid, just the rubber isnt up to the job Talking about hard cornering, maintaining a dift in a controlled manner, etc. For highway use, they are perfect: long lasting

Yoza,
Been looking at these myself in the recent EVO test of the WRX, Golf, Alfa etc I noticed most of the cars running on these, including the WRX.
Mytyres do a Pilot Premacy for £129 quid, so if this is the same tyre (big if) your price looks good.
FYI a P7000 would be £90, a Goodyear Eagle F1 £95 quid, RE10s about £90 quid.
Would be interested to know what you think. I'm seriously tempted by the Toyo Proxes at £70 quid each though

Hello Nigel,
I cant comment on how the tyre handles because I dont push them to thier limits....
IMHO I think they are too expensive when you put them against Toyos,F1s etc.

They were good, but only for about 5000ks, then went off like a bucket of shrimps in the sun. But they did not have as much grip as the S-03s or P-Zero Rossos they were up against. Then again, they were ruthlessly "tested" to death.
They did have good life though, just not much grip, esp. in the wet Oh, and then the noise on some surfaces
A responsible driver like yourself should be fine on them
IMHO of course
