For sometime now on my 97p english scooby i have had a strange rubbing sound on my drivers side front wheel, i get the sound on left turning & straight driving, it has really started to annoy me now, but there is more!!!
If i reverse my car with full left lock it seems to drag the passenger side front wheel even at slow speed, but wait there is more!!!! alo i hear a clicking sound on my drivers side front whhel occasionally or a clunking sound, and to top it all off, my drvers side tyre is scrubbed off on both outer and inner ???
so i am somewhat worried and so unhappy i m at the point where i just wanna get rid!!!!. Please tellme someone else has had this problem at sometime

Sounds to me like the wheel bearing may be on it's way out, is the brake pedal a bit lower than normal aswell?

The clicking would possibly suggest a drive shaft end has gone. I had that on both sides of my P1, and had them replaced.

In fact the demise of a local dealer even left me with a spare.

whould that cause the rubbing on the inside of the tire also ?
