I'm just wondering how easy/difficult this would be. Also, where is a good place to purchase such items and how much would I expect to pay.
Thanks.

thought I would revive this topic as I still am trying to find out what is involved. I was told that the steering and suspention all has to come off before you can do it. Is this correct??
Thanks.

The easiest way to do this is to take the hub off , the strut can stay in place , so can the steering , you will have to take the 2 bolts off at the bottom of the strut (if you scrib around the shape of the bottom of the strut you can put it back on in the same place) the ball joint for the end of the track rod ends , take the caliper and disc off , then the bottom ball joint , remove the big nut on the end of the drive shaft and the hub assembly comes off , put it in a vice and take the bearings out , hit the bearing races out and refit new ones , you can either use the old races to push/tap them in or use a press , follow the instrustions with the bearing regarding greasing them and fit the seal then refit it all , it's not that difficult once you get into it.
Hope this helps, Ian
