Bridgestone Potenza's

i've just binned 2 potenza re-10's off the back. plenty of tread left, but they were tryin to kill me !
replaced the front ones with pirelli p7000's last july and since there was plenty of tread on the potenzas on the rear, was just gonna live with them until they'd worn down, but yer realise just how bad they are in greasy conditions with decent tyres on the front.
get rid of the potenza's as soon as yer can...

I had SO 3@S on my old EVO and on my XJR..they were rubbish and caused both cars to tramline to the point of being dangerous!!
I would recommend the Goodyear F1's and the Pirelli P-Zero rosso's which have both perfromed very well for me, also the Yoko Adven's on my old Lotus worked very well but I believe they are soley made for the Elise!!!
Go for the F1's.

Pole Position S02 Bridgestones are b*llocks for wear, I managed to take the shoulders off the front set in a little over 5,000 miles, swaped them round and same happened again (and yes the tracking was checked), saw a few reports of this happening from other users.
Can't complain about grip but lifespan defo a concern!
Cheers,
David.

I'll second the opinion that RE010 are lousy. They are very hard (moving up to 17" with Toyos actually improved the ride), grip to a point, then quite rapidly breakaway.
Fine if you know the limit on a familiar road, brown pants if you go too far on foreign territory.

I would n't say that my RE040's wore well, looking at replacing two in less than 9000 miles.
IMO the grip levels are good, the only thing I'm not impressed with is the tendancy to tramline when worn.
The idea that they are crap is BS, its just that there are better tyres for the money, Avon ZZR's now they are crap!!!
