The biggest problem with that kind of purchase is then getting the tyres fitted, some places don't like fitting tyres that may be a bit 'tight' cos it's down to them if they bu66er them up.
Good idea though!

If you start, im sure you will get most of us buying from you.
The probably top two are 215/40/17 and 215/35/18.
With Toyo i think the Tyres are over £100 but i know dealers get them for about £70 and if you get in with someone at Toyo direct, you pick them up for £35!!!! Believe me this is true as i got talking to a guy with his own tuning company and was telling me how much he gets his tyres from Toyo!

There will be alot of interest in it but people dont know how much you are going to charge. If you can get some prices together and post them up, im sure you will have interest.
Its hard to start off in the beginning mate. I get discount on loads of products and in the beginning i used to put it up that i could get discount on this and that etc but people didnt want to know till i gave them a price!

I bought Potenza S-03's from Micheldever last, I seem to remember about £80 a piece. Other than that I'd consider Goodyear Eagle F1's. My size was 205/50 16s.
You could always ring Micheldever as a pretend interested customer and ask for prices. They've always been the best price for me.
If your doing mail order, perhaps a list of recomended places that can fit them properly and cheaply would help. Best cost fitting into your prices.

Prices are everything, people will buy quality rubber (same specification tyres) from the cheapest source and as stated above, fitting by a third party is a concern.

I think that 16" and 17" will be the most common rim sizes.
I currently use 205/45/R17 but will change to 215/40/R17 depending on price at the next tyre change.
Have you considered trackday tyres as well? Just a thought...
If you can beat the prices of mytyres and micheldever (less a bit for fitting & balance ) then you'll have my custom and no doubt a few friends as well.

225 x 35 x 18's Bridgestone Potenza S-03's
Got x4 from mytyres.net @ £141.40 each inc VAT & Delivery then got them fitted locally & tracking for £60 + a 24pack of Stella (cos they wouldn't do it otherwise as they were loosing out on all the profit etc.............)
.... Well, you gotta keep em sweet for next time haven't you ??

FAO prodrive,
There is already some very very strong competition out there for tyres especially on the internet, blackcircles and mytyres to name but 2.
Mytyres were doing 215/45/17 Toyo Proxes the other day for 68 quid a corner which is as cheap as chips.

I'm after two RE040's to replace fronts(225\45\17), maybe considering Dunlop 9090 x4 or GSD3 x4.
If you can do we a good price I'll take em off you. travel through kiddy regularly.
