Hi Folks, this has probably been answered somewhere before, but a typical 'I am new to this' question.

I collect my98 2000 turbo on friday, and having just had another prolonged test run, the handling is good, but i am already considering 16 or 17" rims.

1. what size tyres do i need to fit in order to maintain the same wheel ratio and
2. how big can you go with a standard suspension set-up.

many thanks

16's go on 205/50 16, 17's normally go on 215/40 17.
You can go to 18's with standard susp, but I don't know what tyres you'd use.
Ron.

I thought MY98's had 16's as standard?
If it really floats your boat you could go to 19". Given the choice i'd have 18's.

Cool

16's came in on the UK cars in August '98. Mine is one of the first to have them. It now runs on 17's off an early bugeye.
