Don't think they'll fit without rubbing - even if they did fit gearing / speedo would be changed as different rolling radius. Are STi7 wheels the correct offset for a MY00?

Exclamation

Echos Ians comments looking at tte tyre calculator :

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

They are bigger diameter and may rub. Also I thought the STI7 had a different offset. If you look at the tyres and wheel combos in the scoobyshop there are a few that exclude the STI7 which tend to suggest they arent a direct replacement. Maybe wrong though somebody must know it just finding someone on a Sunday night .

Cheers

Chris

I think you'll find they are excluded because they don't clear the STI 7's calipers.

Don't know what the offset set is on the STI wheels.
s.t.u have a look at the back of the wheel (it should be stamped on it (ET?? or simalar) and put us out of our missery!!

Question

Funny as there are some 18s which are excluded I would have thought 18s clear everything but maybe a caliper problem. Have a look :
