What is the best tire size???

Question

I have my MY00 lowered about 30-40mm.
What is the maximum tire size that I can use in my car whitout the tire touch my "car".

My wheels have 17".

I has thinking in 215/45 17"

What do you think?? Whit my car lowered 30-40mm, this whit fit this tire whitout touch the "car".

you should be running 205/45/17 or 215/40/17

How wide are the wheels? 7.5" = 225/35/17 & 7" = 215/40/17 are pretty much max sizes.

However, you may still need to roll the rear arches - it will also depend on offset of the wheel.

My current 7.5" rims are et45 and the car sits around 30mm lower - *with* rolled arches the 225's are fine.
