If you've got standard MY98 wheels you'll be fine.

I can back up Tone's comments - I put 4 pots on my MY98 with braided lines all round and the pedal feels much more positive.

Edited to add that you'll need the discs off an MY99 or later as well, as they are bigger on the 4 pot kits than the 2 pot (278mm v 294mm, IIRC)

Is it just a straight swap for the calipers or do i need anything else?

Car is a UK98 and calipers are from an STi IV (i think)

Cheers,

Mark.

Straight swap if you have calipers, pads and discs. Dead easy to do.... while your at it get some good fluid and braided lines.

Some 17" wheels also don't fit - Prodrive Speedline Chronos for one...

(I found out the hard way...)

Ditto to dnb's comments, I found out after already ordering and receiving mine

On the plus side, I'd been incorrectly told they'd fit by supplier so got a refund, still had to fork out for return carriage though

Will they fit under the standard 16" wheels though? I'm guessing they do because the 99/00 models came with them fitted.

Cheers,

Mark.

I've got 2 pots on my my97. Always wanted to go up to 4 pots but I heard they were less reliable and prone to seizing.
Can anyone comment on this from experience ?

Wink

MY97 also & much better with 4 pots on & no problems so far Other than my 17" wheels also didnt have space 4 em so currently running a small spacer which is far from ideal & may well replace wheels soon
