Question

anyone got any experience of red dot pads?
i'm lead to believe they are made by tarox who are respectable, so does it follow that these are too?
background; the ebc greens on the front of my MY94 legacy whilst better than o/e lack progressive bite and therefor need to be replaced.

Thumbs up

I fitted Red Dot XE pads to my car, MY95 Turbo. They seem to be an improvement over the EBC greens I had on before. After bedding them in I tried to induce fade by repeated braking from about 80 to 20. Even when they were smoking pedel feel stayed pretty much the same and no fade. The red dot pads make a lot of dust compaired to EBC but it does wash off easily.

There used to be some type of connection between Tarox and Red Dot but not anymore, I believe they are completly seperate companies now.

"red-dot" used to be the importer of "tarox" but after a disagreement about selling their own products in "tarox" packaging (ALLEGEDLY) they had a small falling out
now only manufacture/retail their own products - quality is reasonable, far better than E*C - IMO - but not up with Ferodo, Mintex Racing, Pagid.........
