Think the pads are about 90 quid. At least half that again for labour I'd guess. Just replaced disks and pads myself. VERY easy. Buy the parts - Subaru or otherwise, and pop em on yourself. It'll cost you less than a 100 quid !

that will be an axle set
why not take the opportunity to go for an uprated pad, wont cost that much difference to "subaru" parts.........

"98 quid plus VAT, plus half an hour's labour" was what I was told this morning.

So I'm looking for replacement pads and doing an upgrade at the same time

Chiark go for set of Pagid or Ferodo pads, there are some different compounds to choose from, you will really notice the differnce.
Pagid RS4-2 is very good as are the Ferodo DS2500, my personal choice would always be the Pagid.I am currently useing Pagid RS15 it has a very high friction level, but may be a bit expensive for some folk's.If you need any help or prices give me a call at work 01474 560031
