wheel and tyre choice??
#1
Hi,
After some help.... I want to fit some OEM MY01 17" alloys to my MY98 that has 16" as standard.
What tyre size should I be fitting, remember reading 215x45? and will the alloys fit straight on without tyres rubbing etc.
Currently running F1's on the 16" and I'm more than happy with them. Does performance run through the range?
Oh and one last thing...how much you paid for 17" F1's
thanks for your help...melon

Scooby Regular
MY01 wheels fit but it's advisable to fit 215/40 tyres so the speedo reads correctly.
F1's are about £110 a corner though you can get cheaper if you shop around. Got to be the best allround tyres for a Scoob!
Iain.

Thanks Iain,
I knew there was some issue with tyre size.
I have to agree the F1 is a great tyre in the dry and in a league of its own once we get the water!
Even better than S02's IMHO as an all rounder
cheers...melon
