I am looking for some 17's and have seen some wheels (original MY01 WRX) which have Subaru Spec Bridgestones on them.

Are these tyres any good and what cost are they to buy new and what sort of second hand value do they have?

Any help/information(and there spec if poss) would be most grateful

Thanks
Anthony

I like them on mine no real problems when driving wet/dry, They are a little noisy though IMO. A lot of scooby owners like the Toyo's. Mine cost £135 each fitted and balanced.

Not the cheapest tyre on the market, I think the Toyo's are cheaper.

I've had 3 sets and there seems to be a nice balance between grip and durability.
You can reasonably expect 8000miles from the fronts and 12,000 from the rears (10,000 a set if you rotate them).

As mentioned, they're not the cheapest(I paid £110 per tyre) and people argue they're not suited to our climate, but I can't fault them.

Thumbs up

My Bridgestones have lasted 16000 and I've just swapped them around so hopefully I'll get another 4000 out of them.

I think they are a good well balanced tyre, very progressive break-away when on the limit. They respond well to the bumpsteer mod too.

But then again I'm biased

Exclamation

Assuming you mean RE011's, they are fairly mediocre. Toyo/S03/F1 etc are a big improvement, and probably cheaper too!

Thanks for the information.

Floyd will call later and must remember to ask you about the bumpsteer mod?
