Hi,

I have the 304mm AP 4-pot brake kit from Scoobymania and I now realize I'll need a new winter wheel/tire setup due to the size of the brakes. The cheapest option would be 16in. steel wheels but I'm not sure about caliper clearance. Have you any suggestions or know of someone with this AP brake kit + a winter wheel setup that clears them?

Joel, welcome to Scoobynet.

But I'm not sure what you're on about. You have superb brakes

If you have doubts about braking in the cold, maybe fit some cooler pads? But your main stopping/steering problem will probably be down to tyres.

You need to seek local advice on what brakes/tyres best suit sub-zero temperatures.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Say, maybe it's time to cut back on your hopps intake. I'm not worried about my brakes' stopping power in the cold, I'm worried about which wheels (cheap ones) I can swap to for the cold weather months since these wheels will be carrying my winter tires. But then again, maybe you knew what I was asking but decided to "take a bit of a ****" anyhow.

Joel, not taking the pi55, just completely misunderstood your question!

Not many people in England use winter tyres/wheels, but someone from Scotland or Wales may be able to advise you.
