I`m getting EBC discs tomorrow and people are telling me i have to fit new pads at the same time or i will damage the disc. I have EBC green stuff pads on at the minute. They have been on for about 2 months. Is this necessary???
(The standard discs couldnt take the heat :-) )

No, i've been told that you should change them sperately. That way new pads get to bed in properly on already bedded in discs and vice versa.

Personally last time i changed the discs i changed the pads too but that was because they were both shagged. If you go for a big brake kit you have to have new everything so it can't be that bad.

Tony.
