Do they do T-1 Proxes in this size tyre. I ask because I have a slow puncture on my offside front tyre so Im gonna replace both front tyres. Currently I have the Subaru fitted Pirelli P-Zero's at 205/45x17. I want to get T-1 Proxes but cant seem to locate them in this size. Cant really afford to replace all 4 tyres at present.

Otherwise what other tyres at this size do people suggest?

Simon.

Went through this just last week....

No they don't make this size, I ended up with 215 40 17's

Also sit on the rim better as it stops the alloy catching the kerb.

Don't think it's an issue to run different size on different axels.

ie front and back.

Yeah I might just bite the bullet and get em that size. Must only be a fractional difference. And I will get the backs sorted out later on.

Cheers for the input Ben.

Yeah the 215/40/17 is the best they do.

I was unsure about the changing over but was assured that it is cool.

The guy I spoke to at Black Circles is Aryan if you need a tyre advisor!!!

Im just about to order a pair from Scoobyworld who do them for £78 each inc vat and delivery. Local tyre dealers were quoting £107 each.

I've got some on mine and found that i needed to up the pressures a bit (34fr/36rr) to stop them wallowing around as the sidewall's v. soft.

I would take some advice about only changing 2 tyres, especially if they are different size to the other axle. I've always understood changing 4 is the way to go. Also make sure the loading deck weight of the Toyo's is at least 87. It says it in small letters on the side of the tyre. I understand you are meant to fit 87's or a reinforced tyre which is 88 (P Zero). All Imprezas Turbos come from the factory with 87's on (Bridgestone RE010 upto to MY00 and RE011 MY01 on). Most tyres are 84 which is too weaker a sidewall for the Scoob.
