How can you check if yours if correct?

I bought a decent gauge from Halfords, however it, the ciggie lighter pump and the foot pump all give different pressure readings on the same tyre.

So how the f*ck do I work out which gauge is telling the truth

regards,

Greg

Is the Halfords one Digital? I've just bought one from Halfords and the reading is identical to my other digital gauge and a mates digital gauge. I've always found the dial ones on foot pumps inaccurate.

Cheers,

Ian.

Nope it's a dial, the one on the ciggie lighter pump is digital.

Topeak do a digital pressure guage which can do presta or schrader valves and is supposed to be accurate to within 0.25-0.75% when it leaves the factory.
You can get them from most good cycle shops and they go up to a very high pressure reading (in excess of 100PSI, which should suffice for your Scoob!).
