I think I might have this problem, can anyone tell me where and what the brake pipes look like, that I might have rubbing against my bulkhead and yes, I'm not very technical.

Hi Leigh,

I'm not too sure where they are myself but you should be able to track them from the ABS unit. Look just behind the drivers side hadlight and check the small (gold coloured?) unit with the 4 pipes coming out the top. Just follow the the pipes and see where they go. If i remember rightly the top pipes go to the calipers and the rest should lead back towards the bulkhead.

I'll be taking my car up to Scotland tonight (it's first proper run since it got it) so i'll let you know if anything falls of and the noise stops

Gimme a shout if you manage to cure the noise yourself.
