I have blue UK MY 98 with the standard silver 16" alloys.

Would really like to get some gold ones.

Not really too fussed about wanting to mod the geometry or handling of the car. So, I wont be looking at 19" wheels with new dampers, springs and all that jaz.

Do you think I should go up to 17"? (16" typres currently only 2 mnths old)

If I go up to 17" will I be forced to make suspension/geometry changes?

Which make and model do you think will look the db's for my car?

All thoughts advise appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

hi,if you are changing wheels and having lower profile tyres (45/35mm) then you wil get quite a gap between wheels/tyres and arch. To remedy this you could put on sum lowering springs,Eibach come highly recommended and lower about 20mm. They will also enhance the handling.
As regards which wheels then try OZ Racing as they do gold especially for the scooby...i have just purchased Super Leggerras in gold at 18".
good luck....

Have a look at these......

They are 17" Speedline ST2s, and I also have the Prodrive suspension, which lowers things a little.

Thumbs up

The OZ prodrives in gold look good - not just saying that coz I'm selling some!!

Seriously the OZ SuperLs or Prodrives look the biz on Imprezas IMHO. I had them on my MY00 and they looked good. I put eibachs on - they had little or no effect on the height of the car (just on the handling )
