My tyre stories...... what do you think.
This is over the span of 2 scoobys....
1st, my98 4dr.....
Running on pirelli (P6000 I think)-- when the tyres were fresh ran really well, when I started to get uneven wear got them re-balenced.... never were right again.... little bit of tramlining/ wheel shake at speed, balencing checked but not the problem.... verdict- good when new, cr@p when worn.
Running on Michelin premacy---- excellent.... good grip, very low wear rate... dodgy loking tread pattern, but really did the business.
2nd, my00 5dr....
Running on Potenza's---- these were part worn when I got them, so a little unfair to comment, but very noisy (road noise) and only one other thing.... TRAMLINING,TRAMLINING, TRAMLINING....
Running on Goodyear Eagle F1---- so far great tyres.... no tramlining, good grip..... feel great.... only had them on 3 days but they feel really good.
Will go for a good blast this weekend and let you all know.
Anyone else had experience with variety of tyres??
