How long will these take to arrive? I've just had a service been told discs need replacing, so thought an upgrade would be better. They did recommend that I get them changed within the next couple of weeks.

Also, what kit would I need to fit under 16" standard subaru alloys - MY98 S reg. This would be the 308mm kit correct as per Mr J's question?

Thanks,

Hugh

Question

Gaz/Ian

Maybe interested in a Kit for a WRX MY01. I have 18" prodrives at the moment but need to make sure they fit behind my old set of 17's. Is it a 335 kit I need? These would be for road and track use so what pads would I need, Mintex 1144's?

See you have about 10 at the moment. Can I join in? Happy to go to the back of the queue as funds not available until end of the month, is this too late?

Kev S

Contacted Ian Godney today looking to set up a discounted group buy. Normal 335mm kit with pads is £575 which he should be able to reduce for bulk order.

Ian also does front discs for varying wheels sizes and also offers rear disks for bout £200 inc pads. others are goodridge hoses for bout £60 & DOT 5.1 fluid.

Individual quote for all round above set was £800

Post interest and see if we cant save some cash together

What about a group buy on his disks only. I beleive the grooved disk for 4 pots is £165 and grooved vented rear is £135 (prices taken from copy of Banzai i think but i could be way off, my memory is ****e ).

Cheers,

Tony.

Ian will make anything to fit anything. These are awesome brakes, i had drilled goove jobs from him on my MY99 and they really do kill your speed, no fade either under serious abuse

Keep the interest comin and see how many bodies we can get

I too would be interested in the 335mm grooved + drilled disc's , mintex 1144 pads, and goodridge line's and ,ap 5.1 fluid .
But it depend's what kind of discount ian can give us .
ian emailed me for the 308mm kit and he gave me the price £575 , so the 308mm and 335mm must be the same price .

And if Ian will fit them i'll make a weekend of it too. (where is he based??)

Could have the cash in about a week, so a big thanks to GazK for all the chasing!!!

To get the groupbuy has everyone got to have the same size kit ?

Ian, The original 4 pots only fit under certain types of wheel. When you build your kits, do/can you offset the caliper more to allow the use of a wider variety of wheel??
Do the prices include VAT. I might be interested in a set of 335's for the original 4 pots.
I might also be interested in a set of 308's ( or similar ) for a 16" wheel, but at present 4pots will not fit under the RA wheels I am using. If the caliper was offset however, then I could buy 4pots locally, and a set of discs from you Ian.
