Question

I thought I'd seen someone on here complaining of VERY low mileage on these?

alcazar, i think that after track usage

not really had mine long enough to comment, but very happy so far, more road noise but then I jumped to 18's at the same time, so hard to compare.

Not had a chance to test them in the wet yet, but looking forward to it.

I have these tyres on my 'normal' tyres. I would disagree with the low mileage statement. I have another set of wheels with SO2's on them (that are heavily worn from trackdays) and I'd say that the So2's are much gripper but the fronts will only last about 3 to 4 trackdays before going through the the seam. I'm going to swap the tyres over from left to right wheels to get another trackday out of them.

the f1 eagles are a bit harder in my opinion and I will put these on the trackday wheels next time because they offer good grip but also last a bit longer. For raw grip - no expense spared - then the so2's are the better tyre. Some say that the Toyo t1-s has the same characteristics as the so2 - but you can't get so2.

one other point to note. read the experience of people who use the same tyre size as you. So, for me, I've got this merry lot on a MY01 bugeye with 17" cans. the 16"ers and 18"ers will have different stories no doubt.
