Hey, Claudius, what is it with you? I had you down as a really funny dude, now you come over as all bitter and twisted.
If you've got summat to say about Godspeed, then come out and tell us, so that Ian can at least defend himself. Stop with the inuendo.
As they say guy, either put up or shut up!!!
Easy, dude

I did say what I had to say previously, and Ian said that the problem (pad touching bell! ) had been fixed. All I meant to say is I wouldnt trust a company who sends my a brake kit they have "engineered" where that sort of thing happens. I'd rather go with proven products from companies that have a proven record.

I am not saying that the Godspeed brake kit doesnt fit a scooby properly, just a word of caution, really. And I said I said it before. Maybe a search would have brought that up? But then again, the search doesnt work too well on here

No offence

Sneb , We still have a good customer base for Gtir's and all Fords, We had 2 orders in for the Gtir's this week , So they can't be that unimpressed with them , How come it always seems that when a good thread starts about a company on here there is always someone to slag them off , It's the British way so I'm told !!

Claudius , I'm not going to answer this as I have done so about 4 times , as usual you are talking tripe , From the replies you get on your posts I think most others think the sames .

Cheers Ian

Only the arrogance of the owner seems worse than their products.

If you've got nowt worth saying either bugger off to the muppet forum and stay there or don't bother, I suppose that you're also the best in your field of work and never done anything wrong in your life, but then as they say if you never do wrong you don't do anything!!!!

Hi Jim

the person who posted the original thread didnt give any details either. Why do you shout at ME?

I hear you, and I agree. Everybody makes mistakes. If I make a mistake (which has already happened, if I remember correctly ), it doesnt have the same consequences as if a brake manufacturer makes a mistake. Cant you see that?! I really dont care if you flame me for saying the above, but I would be extremely sorry to hear of a fellow scoobynetter being hurt or worse because of a brake failure. Get my point?

Peace

Claudius , Regarding the pad touching the bell , I have explained before but you obviously didn't understand so I will try again , The discs and bells we supplied to the customer for his Evo 5 fitted with the standard Brembo pads which is what we designed the kit for , when the customer went to fit different pads they were touching the bells , he took the pads out and fitted them up to the brembo pads and found them to be bigger which is why they touched , he ground his new pads down slightly so they cleared , and we changed our drawings for the discs so that any pad would clear , When you buy some pads for a certain car you do not expect different makes to be different sizes .
The pads being bigger is the reason they touched , not a badly designed kit as you keep saying , So do me a favour and get your story right before giving out 'EXPERT' advise from now on .

Following Cladius's suggestion I had a look on the Nissan GTiR and RSOC boards. A couple of complaints about Godspeed (mostly delivery) but no more than you would expect of any company, and far outweighed by the number of positive threads about them.

That was sneb suggesting that, not me.
