Question as above. The number of roundabouts near me is killing the nearsides much faster than offsides - would be nice to be able to swap them over to even out the wear. Here I would define "worth having" as at least as good (/bad!) as the OEM Potenza RE0110's.

Don't know of any non-directional tyres that are any good (surely they make them directional for a reason?). Any dealers wish to comment?
If it's that bad drop you local tyre fitter a 10'er and I'm sure he'll swop the tyres over
Iain.

I think the directional tread is to do with shifting water - was wondering if you could still get a good dry performing tyre as generally I don't tank around too quickly in the wet.
I think I'll swap all 4 and ask to keep the two part worn offsides. That way I won't feel they have been wasted although in reality I suppose they'll just fill up my shed indefinately

You can "Swap them over" Get your local friendly tyre fitters to move the nearside tyres onto the offside wheels and vice versa. The direction of travel will still be correct but the worn tyres will be on the offside wheels. you just need to do it at the right time, ie 50% wear.
