Question

Hi all,
Need new pads on my P1 running on standard discs.Thinking of Pagid or Greenstuff-unless of course you lot know better; and i need contact numbers.

Careful you don't warp your discs though.....

Standard discs weren't designed to cope with extra abrasion (hence more heat) from uprated pads...According to Graham Goode Racing

This is very true, but we have found the Pagids are very kind on rotors.
The EBC Greens do cause a lot of heat related problems on standard rotors. Combined with the EBC TGD rotors the greens are O.K.

Question

i have a jap import 94 wrx 5 door, and despite a few disc and pad changes(swops off others,not new)i am finding braking under speed occasionaly frightening, as soon as they are put under pressure, they get worse...anyone help?

Is it pad fade?
Firm pedal no friction!

Which pads are you using and what type of discs? ( plain, slotted, drilled)
