Does the tracking need to be carried out on all 4 wheels ?? The reason I'm asking is that I'm experiencing high tyre wear on the inner front driver tread (around 40-50mm from inner tyrewall) I have my Toyo Proxes ordered and ready to be fitted on Friday and the garage that are fitting them are also gonna check the tracking for me (cost around £18). In the past I've been told that 4 wheel alignment/geometry can be done but only at selected places.
Do I need to get all 4 done or is it safe enough getting the normal wheel alignment done ?? Your help would be much appreciated.

You really need to get it done using a 4 wheel alignment job... Don't really know the ins and outs but just doing the fronts aint for a scoob so i understand

You need to get 4 wheel done.
I recently fitted Proxies and took the car to Kwik Fit for the OK they looked at the 2 wheel tracking and adjusted it until they said "its perfect". 3 times i went back cos of wobling at high speed. In the end i took it to my local Toyota dealer (scoob dealer too far away!) they looked at adjusted each wheel by about 5 degrees and now shes perfect! Worth the extra £40 to get it done!
Any main dealer who sells 4 wheel drive motors will be able to do this for you. you may need to give them the settings tho', you should be able to get them from any scoob dealer over the phone.
Oh yeah Kwik fit also admitted they were wrong and paid Toyotas bill ;o)

Cheers for the info, I'm now convinced that the 4 wheel alignment is what it will need and will accept no other. With me owning a WRX import I can't just take it to my local Subaru garage. However I'm happy to take the car to a garage that already deal with 4 wheel geometry on EVO's & Scooby's.
Thanks

Bet you have a MY01...
This high tyre wear on front inners is starting to sound VERY familiar to a lot of people - me included.
I had the same and got my dealer to check the Geo settings - they came out all perfect and within Subaru tolerences...
Next move is off to TSL to get the tracking changed in the hope that it cures my tyre wear problem.
Good Luck!
Mak.
