Brembo bleeder screw/nipple torque please?
Thanks for any replies in advance, much appreciated.
Going to change out the brake & clutch fluid today on my Wr1 fitted with brembo brake callipers.
Anyone have the torque for the bleeder nipples/screw please?
Also because there are 2 nipples what one do you bleed first? Inside or outside? I am guessing outside but don’t know?????
Cheers Paul

Yip that's spot on thanks Danny .
Going on the rest of the torques it looks like the torque value are in Lbs-ft.
So 14.5 Lbs-ft would equate to around 19.5 Nm. Now I just need to find out sequence; inside or outside nipple first???
Cheers Paul.

OK. From the manual...
You bleed FR, RL, FL, RR. Inner then outer on each caliper. Torques are 18NM for the union and 20NM for the Bleed Screw 11mm size socket/spanner.
The manual states a correct distance for the pedal to move after, at idle with 400nm applied to the pedal. (40kg shove to you and me). However , the pedal should be pretty firm as any air is pretty obvious.

That Bleed Screw Torque of 20NM is high and ONLY for the STI Brembo Calipers. I'm also about to bleed my brakes. I stripped and rebuilt my calipers and fitted new braided lines at the same time. New seals, dust boots, clips and every nut and bolt under the car basically.

Thanks for the info Marky, much appreciated.
You will see a BIG difference with the braking of the car with the reconditioned set up. A guess this means you can go even faster now
Yip you see a lot of posts with broken Brembo bleed nipples/screwshence the question; especially when the torque for the old Subaru 4 pots I have on my 99 UK classic turbo is only 8 Nm.
