was going to get some Pzeros which were originally fitted to my P1 Rims until a bloke at the local tyre place said they were crap and to get some BF Goodrich 215/40/17 which he had on his M3, well pleased with them, especially in the wet. paid £100 each, same price as the Pzeros.

Take care with SO3's, I had them on my STI after having had the old SO2 & in "my opinion" they are less than perfect with an awful lot of tramlining, I have now switched to TOYO, probably not as good as the SO2 but lots better than the SO3. Having said this some people seem very happy with the SO3 although some still talk about tramlining.

I'm on my second set of 16" SO-3's. Fantastic tyre once well scrubbed in.

I replaced the PZeros on my P1 with Toyos.

I'm on my second set now, and they feel much better than the OEM tyres. Although they don't necessarily give quite as much grip as SO2s in the dry, they are more progressive, and give you a little more warning before they lose grip, IMHO.

However, if you're running the standard 17's then the Toyos are slightly oversized, and you have to play with the pressures to dial out the flex you get from the tyre walls.

I recently replaced all 4 of the p zero’s on my P1 with S-03’s
Once scrubbed in they are much better than the p zero’s especially in the wet. IMHO
I never did like the p zero as a wet tyre.

At the same time as changing all 4 tyres I had a full geometry setup done & the settings were found to be miles out from what they should have been , since then the care has never felt so good.

Cheers,

Rob
