I have this problem when you dip the clutch and put your foot on the brake pedal now and again the pedal go's hard and brakes grind and the ABS light comes on.Also if you go around a sharp bend quickly light comes on or if people in the rear seats the light comes on.Light also comes on when just driving around,the one day it happened pedal went hard and almost couldnt stop at the junction,Have taken the car Subaru dealer but they say they cant find anyhing wrong Please Help.

what scoob have you got. If it's a new WRX then you may be suffering from a 'feature' that can best be described as very aggressive ABS. Absolute pain in the ****. Not only does it come in very early it has all the stopping power of a kid's scooter. Maybe it's ABS designed to be 'involving', scares the B'jesus out on me on numerous occassions.

Just a guess, but it sounds like maybe one of the ABS sensor cables is shorting out under some conditions. The system would stop seeing the pulses from the sensor and think that the wheel had locked up.

Take a look at the sensor cables as they come from the wheel hubs. Any cuts in the cable are obviously bad, but there may also be a break in the wire that you can't see.
