Hi, I've just bought these wheels for my 2003 WRX and noticed they're missing a centre cap.. didn't read the advert properly





They're 5x100, 17 x 7.5J and say M600 on the back of the cap, I've just scoured the web and forum posts seem to give dead links or out of stock shops.
Does anyone know where still sells the centre caps? Or perhaps someone has one laying around that they would part with for a small fee?
I've ordered a set of Prodrive by Oz decals so colour isn't an issue as wheels need a refurb already.

I do have a couple original ones.slightly worn or damaged. Can be used as a template or similar as I'm also after a set

 

I got one (with a boken clip) with my set of wheels so I'll start by trying to make an exact replica (appearance wise) with a bit more material around the clips for additional strength.
This version is actually on my printer as I type. However the convex top face doesnt suit FDM 3d printing very well, you'll always end up visible steps from each layer. Unfortunately I dont have a resin printer.

So if the convex version doesnt come out very well I'll see how they look with a much flatter face.

 

Getting quite a few messages about the 3d printed centre caps, so quick update for you...
I am working on them as and when I can but they are a side project atm. Very busy at work and my girlfriend is moving house so not a lot of spare time at the moment. Please bear with and get there soon as I can.

What I have found so far is that the convex shape of the OEM caps with the embossed text is basically impossible for me to replicate with any reasonable quality (with my equipment). To match that design would require hours of hand finishing making them just too expensive.
So I'll just be focusing on a design with a flat face with the embossed text in.

If anyone desperately wants a set quickly, I can do plain ones without any text (in black) just PM me.

and they looked great fro the cost involved ,, these are for the 18" wheels though but im sure you can get the size you need

Yes unfortunately the OZ wheels have a different centre cap diameter to the that style of Prodrive wheel.

 

I'm missing a cap from my l 2006 PPP option OZ 18's, same style as OP but in GunMetal, after the tyre fitter somehow trashed one - I need to measure size but if the same fitment would defo take a flat cap (and another spare).

I've got a couple of centre caps on my car as we speak to give them a literal shake down test. Going well on the B-roads so far!

I believe I've got them to the point that they work as well as the originals and look alright (I'll get some photos tomorrow)
The print time to achieve this is longer than I'd anticipated (got to run the machine pretty slow for the quality), so I'll only be able to reasonably print 4 caps per day. This means I'd be looking for £45 per set +pp

If you're still interested (or not) could you just post a quick yes / no for me to gauge interest?

Yes I could sell them in ones and two's, but bear in mind they won't match the original's. Price would be £15 for one, £25 for two. £45 for 4, £52.5 for 5.

Here's some photo's of the last one I did, which I was experimenting with sanding back. This photo is after a course sand, so isn't representative of the final look achievable.

 

Yeh they look good! As long as they fitted the same as the others with the sticker facia on top. I'm definitely interested in a set. What do they look like on the wheel?! I only need one in fairness but obvs want them all to look the same when fitted! (OCD)

Is this project still active, if so can you do different designs on them, as an example a pink Sti logo rather than Prodrive.

 

I've got a set of unused as new ones. Polished with prodrive writing. 150 . Cost me a fair bit but sold the p1 and wheels now so no longer of use. More pics available of wanted.

Are you still making these 54mm centre caps with an inside measurement of 49 mm if so how much are they
