Default proxes or rainsport 3?

anyone any opinions or experience on either of these? looking at both atm and would like a real world view from anyone who,s used them on a subaru. either proxes T1R or uniroyal rainsport 3. im leaning towards the rainsport 3 as i live " ooop north " and it constantly piddles with rain up here. any views welcome thanks.

Iv used both, they are totally opposite. The Uniroyals are great in the wet but only average in the dry, but the Toyos are useless in the wet but fairly good in the dry. I use the Toyos as a summer tyre.

As already said, rainsports for, er, rain. I have had four RS3's on all winter, cracking tyre for the wet weather and even very good on icy and snow. Not fantastic in the dry, this time of year with spring round the corner i would go with a summer bias tyre.

Sticking a new set of rainsports on this week.
Live in Glasgow where its rarely dry haha.
Toyos were on my car when i got it could spin wheels in the wet.
Rainsports are only spinning now and there just about finished.
Had them on a year and approx 8/9k miles on them. Spirited miles shall we say.
My second set of them
Ive never drove and wanted diff tyres

And at £220 a set on Camskill you cant go wrong.
