I have a Godspeed set-up, not that size though, I'm very happy with mine, I know a coupkle of people with the 'big kit' that uses the original subaru four pot calipers, the both report very good brakes.
One thing is for sure, the quality is excellent, you 'may' have a job every now and then getting hold of Ian though.

I've got the 335mm on my 99. I am very happy, excellent stopping power from high speeds, really pulls the front of the car down.

Not used on a track, so can't comment, but from what I remember those that have are very happy

Thumbs up

Hi,

Have the 308mm kit for my 97 WRX. Have done a couple of track days with them (goodwood and 'combe) and have to say they are superb.

Fitting was not too bad...straightforward and easy if you have some basic car know how. Only problem I had was when removing the
strut bolt to fit the caliper mounting bracket... was an absolute sod as it was b*stard tight...but a couple of 24" breaker bars did the trick!.
Would definetly recommend the kit..got braided hoses aswell when I did mine and the difference in braking power is huge. Absolutely no fade on trackdays either.

cheers,Matt.

Salsa, you should know that size always matters!!!

With 17's you can fit 335's if you retain the OE 4 pots, 325's with GS's own sourced calipers.
You may need to check the spoke clearance tho.

i think the Rim2000's will have enough spoke clearance.

££££££££££££££££££

so 335 will go on the std 4pots ok????

Phil, with the 335 kit you'll get a bracket to move the caliper, a spacer to go between the two caliper halves, the discs and the bells, oh, and pads. all for the princely sum of.......I think it's £650 at the moment, best check with Ian though.

ian, i'd sent you an e-mail on the 25th may asking a couple of questions and said i needed the kit for the 15th and you replied and i quote "you will have the kit in plenty of time for the 15th" so if you had sent them on the 17th why did you not say you had all ready sent it out.?
and i have no note to say it had tried to be delivered who did you send it with?
i am at home all week from the 24th to the 28th so any time that week will be good for them to try and redeliver it.

Just a quick note to say that I have the cross drilled and grooved 308mm kit with the Godspeed calipers on my 95 wrx. Also had rear discs and braided hoses at the same time, and I can only say that the quality of kit is excellent.

I suppose I could also say that stopping power is really rather good too

How r u Ian? Keeping busy by the sounds of it m8

Thinking of upgrading my brakes to these. Will need the 308mm I assume for 16" wheels ?

Does anyone know well how the standard Subaru 4 pots work with the Godspeed disks & pads. Is there any big advantage in going for the Godspeed calipers ?

Should I change the rear as well to keep braking balance right ?

Cheers

AFAIK Mark, the only reason to use the GS 4pots is if you have a pre-MY99 with 2pots fitted as standard, The GS 4 pots are not considered an upgrade to the Subaru 4 pots.
