I know this is the wrong forum but i need an urgent answer !
im going mad !
I have a nail in one of my tyres
firstly do i have to replace a pair & secoundly does anyone know how much a Bridgestone Potenza RE011 215 45 R17 might cost

why not get it repaired?i've had two fixed before.they take the nail out and put a tapered rubber plug in.

3 points....
1 - You may be able to get the nail pulled out and the hole repaired. The main thing that will stop them doing this (for free usually) is if you've driven the tyre far whilst it was deflated which destroys the inside of them.
2 - Whether you replace 1 or 2 will really depend on how worn the original tyre was.
3 - RE011's seem expensive for their quality - will be >£100 probably.

Depends how worn it is. If you have only done a couple of thousand on it, you may get away with one. Much more and the advice is to change the pair.

Should pay no more than 120 per corner, try Micheldever Tyres or Bracknell Tyre and Battery.

..... also the kwik-fit website has some good information on what type of punctures can be repaired.

Paul,

Pop into RSR in the morning get them to look at the tyre, they will tell you if its repairable or not as the case may be.

As for the tyre price, I have seen Toyo's in that size for £70+VAT
