Default 225 or 235/45/17s on classic type r

Evening.Need a pair of rear tyres on v4 type r,they will be Yolo ad08s to go with the frronts for 90% track use as have road set. What I would like to know is will I get away with 235s on the back even though I have 225s on the front. The rims are OZ superleggas and originality came with 215s all round. Can't seem to see any rims measurements.,just don't want to put a ppair on the back and they come off the rim under abuse.Or shall I just stick with the 225s. Cheers

I would of thought that the 225's would be quite a tight pinch under those arches already.SJ.

Default 225s

I remembered after I posted,I'd put spacers on the back to stop the tyre rub when flexing on the suspension. So will stick with 225s. Cheers

Accepted size for classics to keep the rolling radius very close and not rub, is 215/40 x 17"
