Thumbs up

As a Scooby newby, wantin to draw on other peoples opinions:-

Bridgestone Potenzas (as fitted to MY99's) - worth the cash or not ?

After 6 weeks of ownership, they seem pretty damned good - turn in well, v good in the wet, a little noisy maybe, oh and an *awful* price.

If they are the standard fit RE010's they are C*ap.

Fitted Potenza SO2's on my MY00, after the original 010's wore out and there was a huge increase in wet and dry weather grip, quieter too.

Difficult to find now, paid around 99 per corner, inc balance and fitting.

Potenza is the family name for Bridgestone's "performance" tyre range. You need to specify the actual tyre - i.e. RE010, S02/3 etc.

RE010's stop the rims dragging on the tarmac, but that's about all.....actually, they do make a fairly good dry track day tyre when worn down to about 3mm...

Smile

Remember it's recommended that you change all 4 at the same time due to the 4WD set up. Just an opinion as you are offering only 3
