Default Is there a difference between 2 pot and 4 pot brake pads?

Just got an STI and the guy said the rear brakes are 4 pot.

No idea what this means, does that mean I need to order 4 pot brake pads? Or are any brake pads ok?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, thanks for any help

I think he's mistaken as I'm pretty sure no Impreza (apart from the Spec C Type RA R) came with 4 pot rear brakes.

Unless they are aftermarket brakes.

Perhaps a picture of them will help identify them.

You have to get the correct size pads.

It could have an AP rear 4 pot kit fitted , as above , put some photo's up and I can tell you what you have
You need to order pads to fit your application , no other pads will fit
Cheers Ian

we carry various option on the shelf but ultimately if you have upgraded track style brakes then there aren't as many options as if you had std factory calipers
