brake pads-replace front and rear together?
Had all the pads and discs changed not long after i got it and put godspeed grooved discs and kevlar pads on. The rear pads need changing asap, but the front still have some life left, should i change the front and rear together or does it not matter???
Tbf, i dont mind doing both as ive had 4years and 25k+miles out of the pads, and the discs are still fine, but if it doesnt matter then ill just do the rear for now. (Mot next week).
Thank you :-)

Just change the ones that need it, it would be a good idea to make sure that front calipers are working properly and the pads are free to move while you're working on it

HI
As above if the front pads have plenty of life in them then you can keep them in , as long as the rears you are fitting are not a better compound which may upset the ballance.
Good idea to check the rear calipers are free , as the rears shouldn't wear out faster than the fronts , check the sliders are free , and check the pistons move freely , the pistons don't have the same issues rusting as much as the fronts do , so they don't tend to be as much of a problem as the fronts , but the sliders can become seized .
If the rears seem to be working fine , check the fonts , if the fronts aren't working properly it means the rears do more work which could explain them wearing quicker
Hope this helps
Cheers Ian

Ah brilliant, thanks for that, really helpful.
Ill get the brakes checked then order the kevlar pads from you again, probably sometime next week.
thanks again :-)
