Finding the right pads
Hi guys need some advise and recommendations from yourselves. Im still a very new Scooby owner so im reading thread after thread and confusing myself more and more
I have a WRX hawkeye with the standard 4 pot Subaru calipers, the old owner has put godspeed front grooved discs and there Kevlar sport pads on the car which I don't rate very well under heavy braking after some spirited driving. It causes a lot of vibration through the steering but also suffers a lot of brake fade
Now my question for you guys is, what pads/discs should I put on the car? I want something that will still work when driving normally which I do 90% of the time but something that's going to work well when having a spirited drive (like we all do ) I am also going to the nurburgring this year so would like to find a combination that would work well before I leave.
Ive read about the orangestuff pads are meant to be good but they seem to be track day orientated rather than general use pads. But I don't personally know anyone whos used them or for that fact anyone else with a Subaru
Sorry for the great big essay! I hope you guys are able to help me with this!

HI
No the kevlar pads won't work well under constant heavy braking as thats not what they are designed for , they are suitable for an everyday drive that has some spirited driving now and again , these are the mildest pads we offer and are the first step up from standard.
The discs will be fine you have , you just need to find a better performing pad to suit YOUR driving style.
If you're going to be doing track days , a very good all round pad that will take as much abuse as you want to give them ate the Carbonne Lorraine RC5+ , these are very good , but can squeel at low speeds , but the performance of them is good.
Fit a set of these instead of the kevlar pads and it will make a huge difference in sustained high speed braking ,

Very well priced at £125 a set as well
Unfortunately PF don't make the Z rated pads for the Subaru 4 pots , only the Brembo's
