Default 225's on a 9.5" wheel ?

I'm currently looking at getting new tyres for my new wheels and see many people running 225's on their 9.5" wheels I was originally going to go for a 235 wide as I'm not after the stretched look , I want tyres that are ok to push the car on I.e fast road blasts etc (I have track wheels to use separately)
So the question is do I keep it simple and dial in a bit of camber 1-1.5 degs and use 235's or are 225's fine on this size wheel to give a bit of a bashing ?

Thoughts/advice please

Dave

255 would be the proper size - I run 245 - 40 - 18 on 18x8.5

I wouldn't run 225

I'm running 235s on a 9J rim, I wouldn't go any smaller that's for sure! I wanted 245s but they didn't do that in my tyre choice.

Thanks for the input guys , so all the grid drifts running 225's on a 9.5 are proper stretched then , I have been told the ns2r's do come with a wider shoulder than most so a 235 in them is almost a 245 in mod other brands , so I might get one and stick it on to see how that fits ,

Yeah the track based tyres do defo seem to have a wider shoulder as yours don't look anywhere near as stretched as some of the above mate , I will get a 235 on it and see how it looks , will just have to run a bit of neg camber with a 235 but that won't be an issue for the use the car gets ,
