Default Rear brakes catching

Did a quick search of the forum and couldn't find anything o this so my bad if it's been asked before.

Just got my 03 WRX blobeye and it's fantastic. But theres one thing bugging me. The rear brakes seem to catch or at least make noise as I drive, it's not there all hte time and a very light tap of the brake gets rid of the noise briefly.

The car itself had been sat still for quite some time before I got it and it barely got given a proper drive so I thought that might be the cause and it might go away within a week. But I'm a bit paranoid about it and don't want to leave it a week really.

So any ideas on what might be the cause, and what I can do to fix it?

Cheers, cod

the Subaru branded 2pot calipers are common for the pads to seize/jam in the calipers.........

if the car has stood for a while it would be a good idea IMO to strip and clean all brakes and check the general condition
