Default Help! Brake judder

A while ago I noticed a bit of judder coming through the steering under moderate braking.
I put some new pads on all around and then did a track day where it became infinitely worse, almost to the point of undrivable!
I changed the front discs and the judder went.
About a thousand miles in and it started to come back. (I'd driven to the Alps by this point)
Two thousand miles in and its getting worse again.
There is excessive dust build up on the front left wheel.
The car pulls left a little. (may not be related, haven't checked the geo)

My theory is that one of the pads is sticking a bit and causing the discs to over heat and warp.

Do discs warp that easily??

Would I get any judder just from a sticking pad??

Could it be a problem with the rubber brake hose?

I had a look at the calliper and all the pistons do move albeit one of the four is a little lazy.

Thanks for your input guys.

HI
If you have sticking pads or pistons , and they are not releasing off the disc as they should , its like driving around with your brakes on which will overheat the disc and can warp them .
A sticky pad would not make the steering judder when braking , so the disc is probably running out of true
Get the calipers sorted so all pistons move freely , clean the calipers out to make sure the pads are free to move , you may get away with a disc skim , if not they will need changing , should be fine from then onwards
Cheers Ian

Cheers Ian,
They're only the standard subaru 4 pots so I might look into replacing them with some refurbs.
Any idea how easy it is to refurb them with one of the servicng kits?

HI
We can offer you calipers on an exchange basis , or pistons and seals to do your own , if your competent around a car they are fairly straight forward to change the pistons and seals yourself.
To do the job right you just need to remove the rust around the bores or they will start sticking again , as with most jobs its in the preparation

Cheers Ian

If you aren't going to change for bigger brakes any time it's worth investing in the stainless steel pistons.
I did this on my old 4 pots and **** me they were a lot better.
