cheap track rubber for someone? (225-40-18)
Just acquired some 2nd hand wheels but the tyres aren't as good as I anticipated so have decided to just replace them with new tyres all round.
They all have loads of tread in the middle so can't be that old, but seem to have been abused a bit.
2 of the tyres are fairly worn on the inner edges and I have noticed that another 1 of them has a fine crack running through 3/4s of the diameter - so definitely not legal. (see bottom photo)
Personally I wouldn't run these on the road, but should be alright for smoking around the track. (don't know about the one with the crack)
They are all Nankang Ultra Sport 2, size: 225-40-18
£50 collected for all 4
(collection from Cirencester or Bath)
