17" Lightweight wheels with Yoko A048's
17" lightweight wheels, 17kg with tyres. I compared these to a set of P1 Oz wheels with tyres at 22kg !
Wheel size 17x7 et45, tyres 225/45/17
They have yoko A048's 2 are just past wear indicators and 2 have 2mm. Ideal for a trackday or 2, sprints etc.
£350 collected from Peterborough

Hi Clive,
Potentially interested in these. My tyre knowledge is minimal however, are these particularly good for track use?
What brand / condition are the wheels in?
Good to meet you today btw
Thanks

Hi mate,
Wheels are very tidy. Make is SSW from memory, I bought them originally as they are light. Did one sprint on these tyres and they were great, got some new wheels and tyres for this season now though.

Hi clive, do you know if these will clear brembo's on a classic? If so, I may be able to collect the weekend.

Hi, Is 225 45 a bit large for a classic? Does the car have to be reasonably high for these not to scrub? Or is it fine as long as the car isnt ridiculously low?
Cheers.

The reason i ask is my classic is low but not crazy i tried a set of oz 17s with pirelli corsa track tyres, 225 45 17 and they scrubbed, looked at the back of the wheel and it looked like ET 48 does that mean they stick out more? I see yours is 45.
Cheers for your help.
Clarky.
