4 used toyo 215 40 17 i have pictured all 4 tyres so you can see the condition there are no puntures and all hold air fine not sure what there worth so will say £100 collected from northampton nn2 to start with

i would say 2 have around 4mm and 2 around 3mm but thats just from looking at them have nothing to measure it with if you look in the pics you can see the wear bars tried to show them to give an idea of tread depth hth mate

not worth the time and hassle wrapping them for £40 mate but thanks for offer I think there worth£50 of anyone money will be here for another week or so then will be going

I recievedthe Tyres today and they have been flat spotted. 
Admitedly the worst 2 tyres do have 3mm tread in the best areas, but where they were flat spotted they are right on the 1.6mm Wear markers.
the better 2 tyres also flat spotted, have close to 4mm in th ebest parts, and under 2mm where they have been flat spotted.
Absolutley No use to me what so ever.. NOT HAPPY
I have taken pics of the worst 2 tyres with the tyre depth gauge in place. Iwhen i find the cable for my camera i will Upload them.

hi mate sorry that the Tyres are no good I have never run them on my car I brought them with some wheels from another member on here a few mths ago you could have sent me a pm though instead of trying to make it look like I have scammed you I'm not out to rip anyone off and will gladly refund your money no problem also what causes this as will take it up with the guy I brought them off as he never mentioned it thanks and also pm me in future not everyone is out to have people over mate

IMO Posting in the open about such issues is not always detrimental.
it's not always about the issue, but about how you deal with the issue, and people seeing that you are willing to resolve the issue is always a good sign.
Flat spots are generally caused by the locking up of the wheels, As the tyres are the Proxy T1S they are soft compound and were most likely used on track. as its a soft compound it would not take much.

do me a favour and drill some holes in the side Walls of all 4 Tyres and send me a pic of them laying next to each so I know they will not be used and will refund your money straight away only asking this as was not aware of the problem send pics to my email address and will sort it ok

hi mate I'll refund you £50 and have pmd the person I brought them from explaining the situation and said I feel he should cover the postage cost as I'm totaly out of pocket here if he ever gets back to me I'll forward the money on to you 100% but am happy to give you £40 and £10 towards post cost just send me the pics and I'll send the money over asap ok mate
